My Tacoma is a 2006 TRD model. It has 125K miles on it. I was advised by my mechanic to take it to the dealer to have the transmission fluid changed as that is recommended by Toyota. He can't do it as he doesn't have the right equipment.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004QC1066/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Just purchased this bad boy, all you need is breaker bar, tourqe wrench, i think its a torx screw to get the 4 screws out for the filter, still have yet ot do it but im doing it soon. If you want a full flush, gotta pull those atf lines and drain the system too, not just drain the pan. heres for a full flush https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/diy-full-flush-for-automatic-transmission.68462/ but yey if your doing just pan, swap filter and gasket and follow what @ZachPrerunner said. Also, check and clean the magnets at the bottom of the pan, you shouldn't have very much metal at all but its always good to clean them.
