I changed my transmission fluid in my 2007 toyota tacoma i had done it before and no prroblem but this time i learned a good lesson and probably many of you toyota owners have learned this too. Never assume that the fill plug will come out with no problem try taking it out first. Thought it wasn’t going to come. But with a good punch and hammer and then drive a 12 point 24 millimeter socket on and one person pushing on the breaker bar and the other pulling it finally came loose they didn’t have one at the dealer but we used a rear differential plug and crush washer the differentia plug is the same size but doesn’t have a groove for the oring but crush washer works fine. Thought this might help someone. Richard watts

Rule 1 of any fluid change where a fill plug is involved.
