Anyone successful with removing the charcoal canister? Mine got filled with fuel and I would like to just delete the whole thing.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    Welcome to TW.

I haven't seen or found any one that has done this on a Tacoma. It would require resistors if you're concerned about the CEL being on constantly.

Need to put this in the Top Off Fuel Tank thread.

don't max out the filler neck, then goes right to the charcoal canister.

I'm not worried about cel's, just wanna get rid of the evap system so my truck will run. I have read several threads on the 3.4 but see nothing for a 4.0.

Bought the truck totaled rebuilt it over the last couple years, auxiliary fuel tank in the bed plumbed into the stock tank, got the plumbing figured out but not before the charcoal canister got fuel in it a couple times. Still ran fine after draining the fuel for bout 10,000 miles then started cutting out and stalling. Don't care about cel's just wanna delete the system. Any help would be great , thanks.

Are you able to simply drain it? Has it ruins media on the inside? Yank it out and plug the hoses, not good for emission control. See what happens...

Tried that, motor dies when you give it throttle.
