Any tips to get this to charge my phone properly/consistently? Sometimes it charges decently, other times it charges very slow or it goes in and out of charging completely, almost as if it doesn't recognize the phone is on it.

I've tried placing it on there with and without my thin phone case. That doesn't seem to make a difference.

Hmm. I guess everyone's docking station charges their phones perfectly.

I stopped using the Qi wireless charger around a yr ago. My phone would move from bumps and stop charging along with get really hot. It also couldnt really charge it when running bluetooth music and gps, it would hold the charge but only gain maybe 1% in an hr. Much easier and faster just plugging in my phone to charge.

I think Toyota missed the mark on this one.

I just use an inverter and charge with the adaptive wall charger my Android came with. If I want to use it for music, I just do it via bluetooth while still being charged.

I just have a 5 lug with budget parts. No gee whiz stuff.
