Anyone had issues with this? Did a 200 mile drive over the weekend and pretty much the whole time the charging mat did not work and both lights would blink constantly when I turn the qi charging on.

Try to reposition the phone if that happens

Mine constantly does this as well. Tried repositioning and everything. Just eventually gave up.

My phone does have Qi charging ability but let’s face it, this is more of a gimmick than anything. I guess the only time it might be useful is if you have no charger available. It’s a slow charge but it is better than nothing

I found that it’s absolutely useless. It takes about 1 hour to charge maybe 15% and it also makes my phone hot.

You’re better off using a USB cable or buying an aftermarket wireless charger!

I have a Galaxy S7 and use the QI Charger all the time, I think it works fine for what it is.

It charges, just way too slow. Bought a 12v multiport and actually charges. Rather have a cubby there

yeah mine sucks, it heats up the phone (iphone 8) a lot and doesn't really do anything but keep it from dying. better off using the charging port and turning off the qi

Same here, 40 min drive to work I usually gain about 12% while playing pandora from my phone.

I use mine with my galaxy S8 all the time and occasionally get the double blink but I just take my phone off of it for a few seconds and it's fine. If I need it to charge fast, I just plug it in.

Works fine for me with my Iphone X. Get about 20% charge on my 40 minute commute. After use I know exactly what direction to put the phone and where to position it to get a good connection every time.

I have an iPhone 8 with an Otter Box Defender case. To get the charging mat to work, I have to position the phone at the front against the lip. It works fine for me.

I'll just echo what others have said: I was stoked about the charging pad when I first got the truck, but it's just not that useful for me... The charging is incredibly slow, and my phone would constantly lose the connection every time I hit a bump (and often for no perceptible reason). Each time it stopped charging, the display would power on and chew the battery down. Net effect was that it actually ran my battery down much faster than not charging at all.

That being said, I'm not shitting on it. A lot of people like it, but I'm just looking to convert that space into something cool (new ham radio?).
