The airbag system works with sensors that don't just sense impacts. Module sees x amount of g's and will deploy the appropriate restraints for the amount of g-load, IE minor low speed collision will not deploy anything, medium speed could deploy just seat belts, side impact will deploy curtains and seats, and so on and so forth.

Nut shell: There is a good chance your airbag system is fine. There are a lot of factors that go into deploying restraints, the collisions you've been in haven't been sever enough.

Rav4.jpg No airbag deployed in either of these accidents, it was the other persons fault both times. the Tacoma was 10-15 mph and the Rav4 was 35-40.

Hey, keep in mind that I've never been pulled over and have never been involved a serious accident. Of the accidents that were my fault, the only one that took place on a public road was when I hit the Mustang...

The other two I had on actual roads were NOT my fault. 45-year old woman was texting while driving and rear-ended me at a red light in March 2015, and a DRUNK 70-year old man plowed right into my truck after running a stop sign in October 2015.

All the rest were in parking lots at REALLY LOW SPEEDS.

Just wait until the next accident to see if they work. From the looks of it that won't take long.

You sir are a menace to the motoring public. I'm thankful you're all the way across the country from me. There are enough menaces here.
