The Camry, which I also realized has leather seats...

I’m guessing the leather seats are aftermarket, since only base models have a third pedal and this one does not have a sunroof. I have seen plenty of Camrys from this generation (2007-2011?) with a factory sunroof and cloth seats, but never one with factory leather seats and no sunroof.

I use to live in the same area as them. We used to see them all the time. I could care less, they were always kind of rude to people and stuff. I did however almost beat the shit out the one son in the neighborhood bar.

Who almost got an ass kicking? Duane Lee Jr. or Leland?

I loved that show when I was in high school, and now I’m watching it in reruns on WGN.

The long haired one. He was talking shit to myself and my friends while we were playing darts. He starting talking about he trains in MMA and can kick all our asses. The smallest one of us had like 60lbs and 4-6 inches on his little punk ass. Never watched the show but they really show their asses around and rub people the wrong way.

I understand that many TV personalities and other celebrities are assholes in real life, but being an asshole doesn’t make someone a bad person.

Bill Cosby on the other hand? What he did makes me never want to watch Cosby Show reruns ever again! And I loved that show when I was younger!

Yeah, but being “not cool” (like the Chapmans) and being a sociopathic womanizing serial rapist (like Bill Cosby) are still two totally different things...

Jennifer Anniston is still one of my crushes. Even though she’s 50, I’d still like a night with her!

I’ve met Bill Clinton twice, I met Diane Sawyer once, and I’ve also met John Schneider (Bo Duke from the Dukes of Hazzard)...

I’ve also met a fairly well-known folk singer named Steve Forbert. Those are all of the celebrities I’ve met that I can think of.

I cannot believe it's been 18 years since that awful day...

Like pretty much everyone in America, I remember exactly where I was when I found out about the 9/11 attacks. My dad was in the Navy for 25 years (1982-2007) and we were living in Oak Harbor, Washington at the time. Since we were on the West Coast, we were three hours behind and the attacks happened a good two three hours before I woke to go to school. I was 12 years old and had just started the seventh grade. My mom woke me up that Tuesday morning, but something was different. This had nothing to do with oversleeping and being late for school. Something was more than just different, something was wrong.

We lived in a rancher, meaning it was one-story house, so the family room was just a few steps down the hall from my bedroom. My mom roused me from bed and led me, still half-asleep, into the family room; She planted me directly in front of our 32-inch Sony Trinitron (remember those?) and told me, if I remember correctly, that some bad people had crashed airplanes into the World Trade Center and Pentagon. It took a moment for what had just happened it to completely sink in...

I went to school like normal and my life was largely unaffected by the events; While 9/11 didn't directly effect me or my family and friends, it was still the first time I'd ever felt genuine hatred for an individual (Bin Laden, of course). It didn't interrupt my life, but it did upset me greatly.

Five or so years later, we were back living in PA and my parents and I took a trip to New York City. We visited Ground Zero. We stayed in a hotel in Jersey, and I do believe it was on that trip that a surviving co-conspirator in the attacks was on trial and it was all over the news. There was this Asian woman in her late 20s who had worked in one of the towers, and she was there when the planes hit them. She had absolutely no chance of escape, but she still called 911 and pleaded for help. They played the conversation between her and 911 operator as evidence at the terrorist's trial. This poor woman kept asking if she was going to die, and the 911 operator was doing their absolute best to keep her calm. The Asian woman, whose name I can't remember, perished when the towers collapsed.

I can remember my dad overhearing the 911 recording and commenting that the terrorist on trial was "screwed". Keep in mind, that I was a 17-year old high school student, rebellious and angry at the world for various reasons. **I am actually tearing up as I write this** I knew that thousands of people had died in the attacks, but this was a woman who until a few minutes ago I had never even heard of; After I heard that 911 call, I almost started crying right there, but I attempted to hide it because I was a bit embarrassed to be crying. I wished I could have gone back in time, reached through that phone, and rescued that Asian woman whose name I can't even remember unharmed from that tower like Superman. I actually asked my mom, while almost on the verge of tears, if this woman had suffered when she died, and became quite visibly upset. Again, this was in 2006 or 2007, at least half a decade after the attacks had taken place.

    Well, that's my story...

    NEVER FORGET!
