Bump, because I need 17” tires for my work truck. If someone has some and would like to do a partial trade, that could be a win-win.

For Christmas my son got me a vinyl kit. Finally had a chance to install it this weekend:

I used to drive from Landis to Charlotte everyday on 85 from 1993 to 2002. Sometime around 1996, 85 became impossible, and a friend at work showed me the back roads through Enochville, down behind where the Mall is now. Don't miss those days of driving, just the job and people I worked with.

Honest question, why? Just like the look? I did mine too because I wanted to cut the glare from the sun and the lightbar off the white hood.

Couple of reasons. I do like the look. Plus my hood had the clear coat peeling off in sheets. The hood I picked up to replace it had some paint damage in the middle, so that is now covered up. Also, it definitely reduces the glare. The ditch lights are angled out but they would still glare off the hood some, especially on those pitch black nights up in the mountains

For sale 17x8.5 +25 offset method standards have rock rash not bent. Will need min. of .5" spacer to fit with 285s, skinnies may not need spacers. One is missing one of the fake bolts can get new ones from Method. You can also make some rash rings out of plastic, which I will be doing for the new wheels.
These wheels would be good for some wheelers so you don't mess up your nice ones. I beat the snot out of these and am surprised there are no bends or damage beyond just aesthetics. Some of the rash is some decent gouges and not just scuffs on the paint.

Are there any gouges which would mess up the tires mounting?

Finally got the wheels I wanted. Replaced the SCS Shealths and ST Maxx with SEMAs and Toyo Open Country AT2s.

Anyone with a 2018-19 Tacoma that's looking for a free grille insert? I need one with the TSS Sensor so I can devlop a bracket to hold it in place. Will compensate with a free grille, or cash if preferred.

Website is www.cuttingedgeoffroad.com if you want to look at pics of some recent work. Located in Zebulon, about 30 minutes east of Raleigh. Right next to the Five County Stadium (Mudcats Baseball) if anyone is familiar with it.

How is Zebulon these days? I grew up in Youngsville but have not been out that way in years.
