Hi there Metro Charlotte NC folks!
I am new to this forum. I am also going to become a new tacoma owner in a few weeks.
Sorry to start off with a question here.
Do you folks know a good shop near Concord-Charlotte area where i can have my Boss lift kit installed?
I asked around and I can't find anyone who is familiar with Toytec Boss kit, even 4Wheelers store do not know.

It's not in Concord, but there's a 4 Wheel Parts shop on South Blvd that could likely do the work.

CS could do it for sure but I've purchased a few things from them and I must say the customer service isn't great. I actually had one of the employees yell at me on the phone. Other than that they do good work

dont know why its just a coilover lift . but if you cant find anyone let me know . im in mount pleasant S.C . and i do alot of lift installs for TW members a few from NC , SC , FL , GA , TN i've done alot lol

 

I have thought of taking it to my Hendrick toyota dealer in concord. Ive heard they do tons of lifts but are $$$. I am still on the fence.

I had a vendor for my company install it. Don't take it to a huge dealer to get it done, they will overcharge you just like everything else they do. Personally, I hate Hendrick Toyota because they tried charging $50 to replace a fuse on my headlights.

Have you tried NTB? They are all over charlotte. Took mine there to get the alignment done after install. Also, how much are they planning to charge you for install?

 

just set up a "MOD" day at your house, provide beer and food to those who come by and make sure someone whos done lifts before is there to walk you through it! then you get to meet good people and pretty much not have to pay for install!

 

Best plan, most will work for food.

I called 4 wheel parts, they said they are not Toytec dealer so they don't install the lift kit but nice enough to refer me to a mechanic in Rock Hill.
4WD of Tarheels said they can install it so I just have to arrange for the time and day. I will probably consider this one which is closer to where i live.
I will post some before and after lift pics so I can share the info.
