The tech was also bitching and wants more paid flat rate because of my lift.:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:. I told the dealership they can pay him for that because I am not nothing is modified over what a stock suspension swap would be so there is that. They could store it at this dealership there is a great big field behind it and to either side just need a couple of 2x4 runners and a couple guys to lift it off. I think they are just being lazy. It took some arguing to get a truck or 4runner or larger SUV out of them for my rental as well not sure if that is a dealership thing bc yota doesn't want to pay them a lot for a rental or what but that was kind of a PITA as well.

Folks are going to be nice enough to store my cap at their house for the unforeseen future on their hanging system they have for the cap they have for their 1st gen taco.

Well what I was implying was not that they don’t have room to store it, but they will not accept the liability of storing it. If it were to get stolen or damaged you would be looking to the to replace it. Sounds like it’s a non-issue though as you have a place to store it.

Ah I got ya yeah that does make sense about not wanting to have to buy me a new one as that would be triple or more what I bought this one for.

Surprised they didn’t want to give you the newest Taco as a rental. Put my ‘03 in for timing belt/water pump/head gasket last year and they gave me a durp gen OR for 3 days. My assumption was they wanted me to see what driving a new Tacoma was like and just trade up.

Nice truck, just can’t justify beating the fuck out of $40,000. Maybe I’ll take another look in 2038. Too pretty and expensive to have fun in. I did get a kick out of the Scott Clark Toyota mechanic making an offer on my truck after he worked on it.

Cox here in Burlington. They are actually pretty damn good about stuff. If you look where the techs park there are old FJ80s and other rigs back there along with other modified cars. I would say most of the techs are enthusiasts. I think @Bannerman is right about the liability I didn't think of it from that aspect. The tech that is "certified" to do these replacements may not be one of those enthusiasts though. I mean this is all speculation.

Hey John. If he coming from PA likely coming down 77 from the north. I would say WT Harris off 77 is a great meet exit. Just north of 77/85. Lowes, mall, food etc etc etc. exit 18 off 77. North of 85, south of 485. Northlake mall area. West side of 77

Hey guys. I’m in need of some TW express and am looking for anyone who is traveling or knows anyone that lives in far west Tennessee or north east Arkansas. There’s a topper I want to get but I personally can’t make it out there to pick it up.

I really want this thing if at all possible so any help would be greatly appreciated.

they changed the date due to low commitment of attendance. It's May 12th now. Unless there is a new spot selected that I'm not aware of for this Saturday.
