So it seems like there are 2 different questions there your asking about the struts/shocks for the front or rear. The 888s will work with either the Nitrochargers or the 5100s. The 5100s or extended 5100 (b110) are for the rear. Regular 5100 for the rear are good for about 2-2.5" of lift but I would say more on the side of 2" of lift. If you are wanting 3" then definitely the extendeds the standard length will be really close to it's full extended length and you will have very little droop/down travel and tons of compression but you'll have to limit that with bumps to keep from "W" your springs so you won't get to utilize the full shock like you would be able to with the extended travel 5100s for the rear.

For reference my lift is not a kit at all I pick and chose everything I have based on how I wanted my suspension to work. Sometimes getting a kit even the ones that headstrong puts together may not be a good fit for what you are trying to accomplish.

Marie over @HeadStrong Off-Road can help out a lot in talking you through what you want to do and then suggesting a good fit as far as parts go or a kit etc. She won't steer ya wrong and free shipping for a heavy ass leaf pack is an awesome deal!!!!

NOOOOOO the alpro expo leaf is nothing like a 3 leaf AAL. This spring pack is designed to hold a load where the AAL just adds more springs to the stock pack it will add some load carrying capability but retains closer to stock characteristics compared to the Al-pro expo, Deaver U402, or Dakar HD packs. You can get a spring pack that is closer to stock that adds lift like the Deaver J46 (or something like that) but is a better matched leaf pack than an AAL. Not saying an AAL is bad tons of guys use them and they work and do well you are just a limited by them for lift, travel, etc compared to an actual aftermarket pack.

By the way I would stay away from al-pro there is some history there not with me but from many other members on here.

Example of what I am talking about with limiting up travel so not to kill you leafs. This is my truck with the rear tire completely stuffed. I have the Wheeler's superbumps (great investment for a really goo price) they are completely compressed my springs are flattened out but not going into a neg. arch or "W" shape. I am running the b110 (extended 5100s) in the rear with Deaver Expedition springs (heaviest available, sourced from HS). The shock is ~ .25" from being completely compressed which is perfect.
    LIFH-2ruFL4sDyt8ZoVVYmfW8lsbG5EeHbpNcZOq_3641a4efe14482dba8308153e447a6c73815a2be.jpg

Now the pass side is completely drooped out. What I don't like is that the b110s are my limiting factor in droop. Meaning that they are fully extended yet if I had longer shocks, which would require a shock relocation I can get more droop. Now this is not for the avg. person that lifts for looks and normal wheeling. You'll be just fine without going longer than b110 shocks I just want more out of my suspension.

Was one of those members that had a customer service issue with All Pro. So far no problems with the expo leaf pack, but haven’t put it through too much abuse yet.

If anyone is looking to lift their truck cheap, let me know. I went back to stock about 6 months ago, and I kept my parts at the time in case I didn’t like the truck on stock suspension. I am keeping the leaf springs and shackles, in case I want to break them down to beef up my rear suspension later on for work. One of the leaf packs was bent anyway causing a nasty lean. I’m not looking to get rich on any of this stuff. I am more interested in getting rid of the clutter and helping a TW member out. I’m thinking maybe a few hundred bucks for everything is good. All of the parts have 20-30k miles on them. Definitely not shipping. Here’s what I have:
    1. Assembled OME coil overs with 887 coils (with driver side trim packer) with slightly longer than stock top hat bolts that can be used with or without a 10mm top spacer.
    2. 10mm poly spacers that install above the coil overs
    3. LR upper control arms (the old style ball joint)
    4. OME rear shocks

Oh ya, I also took off the rear and mid skids, and I don’t need them any more. They are Pelfrybuilt.

Lead times are down currently at 6 weeks, great time to get in your orders if you have a need (beat the backlog of big sales). as always, 10% off the fab with code Jimbo (shipping, powdercoat and linex excluded from discount) Holler with any questions at all.

I’m thinking $300 obo for both. They do require the exhaust reroute. If somebody has an off road, and wants to trade all of their factory skid plates (not the gas tank one), I could work out a deal involving the IFS skid as well.
    Edit: pictures in my build.

That would be great! Do you by chance also have the one that attaches to the transfer case? I lost that one and would rather not make a hokey custom one. I would pass the savings on to whoever buys my skids.

I should. I think it's two large pieces? I also have the stock support/cross members for the IFS. I'll double check tonight
