How about some details?? Power output, pressure, rpm? And what are those 6" holes for in the outer case? I wouldn't think they are bolt holes to attach upper and lower cases together from the looks of them. But it would make sense as I see no other way of bolting the case together in the current picture.

Sure! This one in the picture is a high-pressure to intermediate pressure turbine. Steam flow comes in the center and flows through the smaller blades to the right, then comes back through exhaust and goes through the left side. I believe starting pressure and temperature is about 1000*F and 1000 PSI out of the boiler. Op speed is 3600 rpm when on fossil fuels, the nuclear rotors run at 1800rpm.

Those holes around the outside are stud holes for attaching the upper half of the casings! There is typically an inner (which you can see closest to the blading in the center where they are working) and outer casings in the assemblies (the really big holes) . The stud holes can be from 3-6" in diameter.

Hate I missed the party bitching about Charlotte traffic. 85 going into/out of Gaston has gotten a lot worse in the past year. And that ain’t nothing on 485. If any of y’all drive 77 near SC or north of 485 I feel for you.

As for Asheville, You can compare it in ways to Charlotte. Great pockets of cool areas to hang out and some really sketchy parts. Lots of breweries and neat restaurants plus plenty of outdoorsy stuff to do. The infrastructure is a mess. The city is so tight it’s hard for them to expand roads. Rush hour up there’s awful.

Where you’re talking about, north of the city, is a great area. Some of our best friends live in Mars Hill and my wife and I have said if we moved up that way it’d be to Weaverville. There’s a neat little downtown and enough amenities to not feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, but it’s still slower pace than Charlotte or even Gaston County.

Im not on Facebook so if anybody sees any SEMA wheels (especially the gray ones) for sale let me know, thinking about moving away from the 17" Stealths. Also would be interested in some 16" Ray 10s.

I pulled the trigger on a new hybrid front bumper, so I will not be needing my ARB bumper anymore. It is made for the ‘05-‘11 Tacoma, but it has been modified to also work with the ‘12-‘15 Tacoma. Here is my write up on that modification: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/simple-yet-satisfying-dclb.369779/page-6#post-12009916

It will come with a homemade receiver hitch that bolts to the winch mounting location. It’ll also come with a front recovery hook and a winch cradle (I’m keeping my winch) that both plug into the receiver hitch as well. Plus the winch fairlead opening has been clearanced to run a stock aluminum fairlead, because I ran a synthetic line. Details on all that are in my build thread as well as several pictures of the bumper.

I’m not officially going to list it until my new one is finished in 12-14 weeks, but I figured I would make it available to some local TW people now. If someone buys it before the new one one is ready, I would like to borrow their crash bar for peace of mind.

    Asking $750
