I used Relentless hood hinge brackets to mount my antennas. Just have to get the correct size NMO. I have an MXT 275 with 6db antenna, ICOM 2730 with Comet SBB-5NMO, and President Andy with Wilson 1000 on the roof rack.

 

He's on my shit list right now. F'ing Ebike....

 

Damn hard to beat a wilson 1000. Ran one of those with a Cobra 29 years ago.

$160 mxt275 micromobile GMRS 2-way radio

mxt275, the fender mount, and the cheap stubby antenna.

Now I need to find a mount for the mic.

might get the hando vent mount. And put it on the vent to the right of the radio.

 

Looked into that. Hate having the vent blocked.

 

the new design says it allows the vent to be fully opened.

 

Sounds like a decent option. Better get to work on those hangers before you start wiring that radio

 

you clearly haven’t been around long enough to know how quickly I get stuff done. My install ratio is 10:1
