I’d agree with all the suggestions above and add 44 Mills down another two exits in Afton Village. Really good food, great local beer. I usually get their deviled eggs and the burger with pimento cheese. The deviled eggs have livermush croutons as garnish and bacon on top.

Dont ever climb under my pile then!!:anonymous:

I probably would have done the same thing, matter of fact my old trans crossmember that I cut off looks like that. After laying under the truck for 4 months straight grinding and welding, sometimes you just say f it and leave stuff retired in place! I also am not trying to sell my truck for 50k.

I mean, I get it...it's not absolutely necessary to grind the rest of that shit down and would probably add a few hours of time just to make it look better, but I'm not really one to cut corners like that.

Mine are solid rust because road salt and my horrible paint prep when I first put them on. They leave a brown poop looking skidmark on all the rocks.

The times I rode with friends it was actually pretty clean SFWA did a lot in the late 90s early 2000s to organize clean up days with local clubs and stuff since it was under scrutiny of the environmentalists, political pressure, and budgetary issues. Still didn't stop the closure. Hellicopter pad was one of the coolest trails and lookouts there is like Panther rock at Windrock on steroids.
