Huh I thought the 4runner was on their own chassis and shared more in commonality with the Tacoma than the GX interesting

You shouldn't have to pay sales tax ordering online

last time I talked to them - if you pay cash, no sales tax.

Idk about the skids. Didn’t look cause I’m not buying one with KDSS.

Nope, 4runner, prado, and FJ all have pretty much the same chassis. UCA’s and cv axles are a little bit different compared to Tacoma’s as well. A lot of the parts are interchangeable though.

Our GX 460 is really nice on curvy roads. We came back from a wedding a couple weekends ago and I took the back way home on some curvy roads. Handled it like a sports car. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I was laughing the first time I took the GX on a canyon road with 34’s and Kings it shouldn’t have handled as good as it did. :burnrubber:

apparently I was driving faster than the misses would have liked. I was rolling the corners 50+ not even pushing it. It was stupid. She will eventually get an LX in a few more years and I’ll probably take her GX over as a DD.

Are you putting the offer in contingent on your place in IL selling? If so lets us know how that goes. Some Sellers don't like that.

I gotta talk to my realtor and lender about that. We are 100% debt free aside from our mortgage, so we can afford two places, and don't need a contingent offer on paper. Now convincing the lender of that, is another story I guess. We would need the money from the illinois sale for a 20% down payment, but dont need that cash if that makes any sense at all. Illinois sale when ever that happens would go right into this mortgage if timelines didn't line up.

So what you are saying is you have positioned yourself in a very smart and strong point as to show you're serious. I don't see an issue with that one bit.

Sounds like you are in good shape. Could always do a bridge loan for DownPayment. @SearArtist just looked into that, may have more info.

bridge loan would be the only option. You can’t open a HELOC if the property is already under contract.
