Mace Sports in Mebane. Big (for non chain) gun shop. Little far for you but right off 85/40. These mags have been hard to find though.

Shit when were you there???? Not a fan of mace for several reasons. I only live 15 min from there and will drive over an hr to do business with a much better local gun store. Rock City, Butter Creek outfitter, Area 51, and there are a few down at the beach I like as well.

That's who he got the most recent set of 4. Only place that had any in stock and no insight on when restocking will occur told him he should of gotten like 6 or all 10 they had in stock.

This morning. Had to run up to Durham for a Covid Lab inspection

Edit: I was inspecting a lab that’s being built, not being inspected myself for Covid

You know anything about these 408(m)(3) IRAs they are like a precious metals (gold) retirement fund.

Nice you passed right by my place and then were in my hometown. The Dirty D.

No sir. I stay away from precious metals. Too volatile. I’m a boring (and lazy) investor.

Except some real estate, I’ll take some risks there.

Yeah I understand that. Only precious metals I've got are "in hand" . I see them as kinda like a collectable type investment.

The precious metal trade always seemed shady as hell to me as well.

    Nothing wrong with that.

It is. I never buy or invest in anything that I dont understand very well. And the guys that deal in precious metals understand it very well, while I have very little knowledge of it. From as much as I have looked into it, most of the money in that industry is made from the speculation (and fear) of the less informed. Before my time, there a lot of marketing about the intrinsic value of metals, if the world ends money is worthless but gold holds its value blah blah blah. Those ideas seem to stick around today to a lesser degree. It's all bullshit. If the world ends the only metals that will matter are lead and brass.

Yea I agree! I have some gold ETFs in my IRA but that's just part of diversification.

I didn't know if it was different for OOS applicants. The fun one will be my wife's, her temporary illinois licences expired and she has to go back to Illinois to physically pick up her new illinois licence because they refuse to mail it out of state. She's saying fuck that and seeing what happens with NC. Good thing she can telecommute hahaha

Why don't you just call the DMV and ask what you will need before going...? You might have to be on hold for 25-30mins but it'll be less frustrating than waiting at the DMV for a longer period of time only to have to get denied and have to go back at a later date.
