Is calling the NC DMV was the equivelant of slamming your dong in a door 100Xs like other states or are they remotely helpful here? Anytime I called any government office for anything it mattered who was working that day and what rule book they are playing by for that shift.

What prompted my question was a line of "you may have to take a written test" on the DMV website, didn't know if that was in play still and I know some other people on here have moved from OOS.

I called when I had a question about registering my GX and I had no complaints on their service. The lady was actually quite helpful. Not saying that will be your experience, but usually they will at least tell you what you will need to bring with you and what to expect once you are there.

Steel, copper, chromium, iron, etc. Food and other tradeable goods will be worth more.

I think that the new "real" ID will be required in '21 so she may end up needing to take a bunch of identification stuff.

If the SHTF those with lead and brass (and primers)will take whatever they need from those who don’t have lead and brass.

My point is just that NOTHING has value, only the value we assign it. Remember, salt and gold used to be traded in equal measures.

Far out...my company is in Durham...Davis drive north of I-40.

(my lurking on this thread is maybe not geographically appropriate but I like the discussions)

I’m from Raleigh area (Wake Forest) originally so you won’t hear any objections from me. A lot of the guys on here are pretty active on the SC thread.

I split the difference between you and Charlotte. Between this thread, occasionally the Raleigh thread, and the SC thread they are really the most active for this area.
