    RIP

    j/k, hope it passes soon...

girl at my work tested positive on 12/16 (there are only 5 of us)...they told her to come back to work on Monday and she's been coughing and shit nonstop...I'm sure we'll all come down with it in a few more days...I'm pretty sure she is still contagious.

Best part is neither of us have ran a temperature through this and she’s asymptomatic. If her nephew hadn’t visited and had a 102F temperature we wouldn’t have thought to get tested. I can see how this shit spreads so easily.

Glad y'all are doing ok so far. Wife's sister has been sick for 3-4 weeks, in the ICU for 2-3 of those weeks... No pre-determined reason it should have hit her harder than easier.

    This shit is wack..

Has anyone ever replaced the oiler on their chainsaw? Seems like it can be a bit of a PITA. The Ol Stihl has stopped oiling and I damn near burned up the bar on a big pine the other day.....

1)Make sure youve got oil in the tank and no trash/blockages in said tank. 2) make sure bar is g2g. 3) check condition of gears that drive the oil pump. There are plastic and will strip. 4) if gears check out youve got a pump problem.

Crazy right? My wife got a crazy bad upper respiratory infection flu but not the flu (tested at the doc for A and B) back in February. She was coughing and hacking all over the house for about 4 weeks. I was at home the entire time starting a biz and I felt weird for like 2 days and nothing. It gets me thinking with all this testing how many other viruses act like this and we are spazzing out because we are actually looking at this one. Or even how many crazy diseases just normally live in your nose and sinuses and people just don't test for it. I tried looking that up but all I see are covid news stories. If anyone has any info on that tell me where to look, I'm curious because I'm a nerd lol.

I had a cold bad enough that I went to the Doc in early March, Negative Strep and Flu tests. Doc sent me home with a ZPack or something since I was about to fly to California for two weeks. By the time I got back we were starting to lock down. But who the hell knows what it really was...

Yea she had all the docs standing around saying "you have the flu but it's showing up negative, there are lots of people like this that have been coming in." Also talking about how the flu shot didn't work that season. Wife got sick after a biz trip to Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, then to Newark and back to Chicago in the same week.

Side note don't ever fly with a cold, that shit SUCKS!! I made that mistake a few years ago and decending into LAX I thought my head was going to explode, I lost 90%+ of my hearing few a days. Never again!
