Two cops out here now. They are measuring. Probably to determine what speed to put on the ticket.

I watched the whole thing. Guy came in too hot and locked up the brakes and slid right into the ditch and trees.

yeah man, Ram Davesy’s #1 rule - spend spend spend. Worst case you have to take a 3-5 year time out.

Usually with Tacoma’s and T4R’s at the end of the lease you have equity if you want to roll it to a loan. Cause these trucks don’t depreciate rapidly like most vehicles.

I'm camping it'll be fine. Yurts have no heat or A/C it's like a big fancy tent with bunk beds. Cabins for a cheap one for that weekend will be over 400

I will say this, IF you are the type of person that wants a new car every few years, it makes more sense to lease. You're not taking that depreciation hit every time you trade in.

You can get a boat loan longer than a mortgage now
100% agree but some keep a never ending revolving car loan. No one will ever convince me that car loans are a "smart" way to buy a vehicle. I've never seen those "safe" investments that would return enough each month to make you more than what the interest payment is on a car. Like if you took 50k new vehicle put 5 g down there is no investments that I know of that would give you a ROI of that 45k each month to make more than the interest on a car loan especially if that 45k needs to be withdrawn each month to pay for said vehicle. It's kinda like socialism may look nice on paper with equal equity but when applied it fails miserably.

So now you have no valued asset in your name for which if in absolute SHTF you can't sell, borrow against, etc. The only thing you can do is turn it in and then try and find the money for a beater. If you own you can sell that biotch like a $2 whore and take that money do what needs to be done buy a beater and still be able to get around. It's the same as people who get these car loans if they get into a situation they need to dump it not owning outright makes it really hard to sell especially if you have to come up with some cash ontop of the sale to buy out the loan. Yeah it's a depreciating asset but there are some circumstances that it can be handy.
