I have done that in the past with large pines near the back of my house. One pine I had cut a box out in the back to place a small bottle jack in addition to the line off of the winch that I had to go through a snatch block attached to another tree to redirect the fall. I have also used a winch to pull a river birch that arched over the front porch and roof. Was a great experience with a 6/7 year old running the winch controls and an Xterra sliding through a ditch with the forces acting upon it.

Just the y pipe is like 1400 bucks and on a wait list done by another member on here. The ypipe back parts that like I said were pieced together and it was not rerouted like you are wanting.

Good evening Gents! I believe I made an introduction a number of months back but have been settling in here. Anyhow, now that we’re settled in, we’re itching to get some wheeling in. Moved here from southern AZ and had good wheeling right in our back yard all the way down to Mexico.

Where do you all frequent around NC with regard to wheeling? I have heard of uwharrie and would like to make a trip up there but have heard of some closures.

    anyhow, any recommendations are welcome!

I look forward to being part of this group and contributing where I can.

    Also, PFA

Yes URE is closed from mid Dec till apri 1 every year. There are some other parks around you can go to and some FSRs and stuff like that. All depends on what kind of stuff you want to get into or see. Like the fancy Willwood set up.

10 hrs is when I start considering something far. When it takes me a full day of driving other than that everywhere is game for me.

Thanks for the heads up regarding URE. Honestly I’m looking for anything at all, FSR’s included. The family and I just want to get out and explore a bit. The closer the better, as we will likely make it a day trip for the time being with the kids.

The Wilwoods are a recent addition, thanks!

    Excellent, thanks for the info!

For the time being, the closer they are the better, for me. Most of my trips will be day or weekend trips. At least until I depart and return from my Qatar rotation in March.
