it's not complicated, just getting those damn bolts off is a pain. after that it wont take 10 minutes plus bleeding them.

Well I am glad I am not the only OCD Tacoma owner, looking at LED interior accent lights and keep wondering in they will make the halogens look dingy. So now I'm thinking on about that I need to change the dome/maps too.

Then I wonder if the LEDs inside will alter the appearance of the headlight/fogs.. Now I'm wonder if I should do all LEDs in and out....

@Connormc11 And as far as brake lines go... I HATE BRAKES! Never can do work on them without messing something up!

I rounded off 3 of the fittings and the other one stripped after it broke loose. I had to lower the gas tank and replace the hard lines along the frame. It wasn't very fun.

That right there makes me want to just take it to a brake shop before i have to tow it in. Because i dont have the skill to be bending new hard lines and flaring them. Im just so darn close i only have one left.

Im letting the last bolt soak in acetone and ATF over night and then try and use a torch to heat it up some. If doesnt break loose then im going to take it in. Hopefully it wont cost too much to just replace those 2 lines.

sounds like you got it figured out. pb blaster once a day for 2-3 days prior in the future.

In other news; 485/85 split area here. Near Pine Island. Have a personal mod day coming up to put a lift on (5100's all around, AALs, ubolt flip+bumpstops, coils up front). Anyone who wants to join forces and get something else done is welcome. Doing the coil method involving using the trucks weight and a jack to decompress, not a compressor tool. (The tool looks a lot heck of a lot more dangerous than keeping the coil on the truck until its decompressed...)

That should definitely help. I didn't soak my fittings, wasn't expecting problems but Murphy's law kicked my ass on that task. I had no issues busting all the fittings loose on my 29 year old 4Runner

I might be able to help for a few hours depending when.

Looking like the weekend of 3/12. The AAL's have been on backorder, supposed to be in and ship this week. Will let you know when I do.

And whether it works out or not, thanks!

Mornin :pccoffee:. Finally started my taco rear axle swap on my 4Runner, had to cut off the spring perches so I can weld new ones on with correct pinion angle. Going to weld and paint today.

    265/75 Duratracs, De-Badged, Shorty Antenna,
    Morning.

I spent yesterday throwing a 2.5" spacer lift on my father-in-laws Tundra. Not too hard but definately not easy either lol.

Trying to decide if the 3/4" ToyTec spacer will give me the look I want on my Tacoma or if I should wait and look for a set of 4 used 5100s to put on it.
