I know this is the Charlotte thread but anyone ever had breakfast at the Spring Valley Restaurant in Greensboro? Best damn biscuits I ever ate. I tried to go there last weekend for breakfast, pull in and the place had burned down....guess I should’ve called first.

One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh, no," I said, "Disneyland burned down." He cried and cried, but I think that, deep down, he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting late.

It's pretty good, right next to Beef 'N Bottle that you also need to try if you've never had it.

I haven’t, but I’ve had more than one person tell me to try that place out.

When we were growing up, old man jenkins would never fail to come out every morning to nail tadpoles to a wheel, spin it around and around, like a wheel of fortune, and then say, "Tadpoles! Tadpoles is the winner!" We all thought he was crazy, but then, we had some growing up to do.

"Though sometimes considered the same as liver pudding, livermush generally contains more cornmeal and is coarser in texture. It is generally prepared using a different recipe compared to liver pudding."

I was born, grew up and have lived my whole life in the south. Never had any of this type of stuff until recently.
But scrapple is high in carbs so I don't generally eat it. But it's delicious!

You're closer to South Ohio (Charleston) than we are.
