Not too shabby! When you said updating I was thinking a lot worse shag carpet type. Looks like a basic builder's grade fixture/appliance 90s build. Not gonna be hard at all to make that thing really look a lot different. Congratulations on getting a place and in the neighborhood you wanted!!!!

Damn. Three weeks from diagnosis to death. Life can change that fast. But having been through chemo, I can tell you it's a mercy he didn't have to drag it out with a ton of treatment.

He didn't have a good prognosis to begin with either stage 4 and all before they caught it. Chemo is hell!!!!! I'm not sure I'd want to go through with it.

It's rough, but it's worth it if you pull through. I wouldn't do it just to extend life a bit.

My mom is in her late 60s. She's has a multitude of health issues including heart disease. Thy found a lump on her breast and did a lumpectomy. They were gonna do chemo as a preventative measure. She did one treatment and stopped. She said she'd rather enjoy her later years instead of going thru chemo! Luckily the lumpectomy took care of the issue.

I was 27 when I had chemo, also as a preventative measure. But due to the aggressive type cancer I had, the cocktail that they gave me was, at the time, the most volatile drugs available. Did three rounds. Went from the best shape of my life to almost collapsing on a very moderate "hike" on a gravel road. I don't see how people who are older even survive it to be honest.

Bruh the bank decides that it doesn’t want me using my debit card so it’s declining literally every purchase now wtf. Tried getting gas today and it declined twice. I have like $972 on that card. I’m not stranded yet.
