Success, pretty happy with how this turned out. That said, I still will need to do some work on the lift, the water level fluctuates quite a bit (controlled by Duke) so when the lake is high it may be floating, will need to modify those crossmembers to be able to lift it higher.

 

I see you took my advice and added the 1/4" top plate!
