Im gonna ask a stupid question

Which one is better - replacing the entire leaf spring pack with an aftermarket leaf pack, or adding a leaf into the existing leaf spring pack from Toyota?

obviously "aftermarket" does not determine height or quality

Both options will carry weight better without sagging, but an AAL would probably be a softer ride for your application and for sure will be cheaper.

New pack like Deaver or OME will be pretty stiff if you don’t carry much weight.

Better is a little vague, depends on your budget and what you want. AAL>block, quality leaf pack>AAL. I had an AAL, then second-hand Allpro expo leafs, then finally spent $1k on Deaver leaf packs and would buy Deavers again.

I would say a block will do all you need and be the most cost effective.

I'm not in the market to add more height to the rear just yet. I just want to have good options later on

The dude at RimzOne said the Fox 2.0 is higher quality and rides nicer. 2.0 gives it a little bit more height in the front as well
