When you set a trap that's so smooth, even the prey don't realize they walked into it.

When you mentioned the connection between finances and food I assumed you were joking but you’ve said some dumber things so I wasn’t 100% sure. That GR Donkey meme always makes me laugh though.

The other dumber things were also traps but I had to adjust the delivery. Have to find what works individually sometimes instead of the group tactic.

Good luck with that pork belly, done right it can be addicting.

Gotcha. I’ve been trying not to “punch down” lately so probably won’t engage on everything but keep it up!

Making bacon out of this for next weekend so need to get it brining today.

Not sure if @Sandman614 shares his recipe or not but he has made what is probably some of the best I ever had the pleasure of eating.

What’s a good metal supply company in the area? Thinking about getting a welder and making a railing for top of the stairs.

You'll pay a little more but they will cut a lot of things down for you for smaller projects and such. Big supply houses you'll have to get whole sticks or sheets. You can check with local machine shops and other manufacturers and see if they'll give you some scraps for cheap to play with.

Not trying to :boink: a dead topic, but I thought this was a pretty interesting conversation..

Skip, if you don't mind my saying, rehashing the subject... This has to be one of the most destructive sentit videos I've ever seen posted by a member here, BUT I really appreciated what you had to say on the matter after the fact.

You're right. You're only going to learn by being in the driver seat testing out your rig and not in front of youtube videos or sitting in your driveway simply putting new parts on.

And by the looks and sounds of what folks are saying, it seems you like getting into trouble, finding your way out and, if shit goes south, still managing to get your vehicle home and getting it back fixed up for the next run. Props to you.

I went up a bouldery pass in MT not too long ago and came very close to getting high centered. Had to throttle hard in that moment, took a wobble and put a thumb-sized dinger in the lower rear door jam. Not bad other than cosmetic, but I get a smile looking at it, because I'm certainly a more aware driver now because of it.

Of course I'd rather look like a pro and never mess up, but I work on the emphasis of never go harder than you want to hit and in that moment I learned I had to go, and go quick.

Other than that, been fun catching up on things in here. I got a few questions regarding NC inspections and might be sending @SearArtist a PM about getting a tune.

Thanks all for the entertainment. NC knows how to throw down!

Thanks man appreciate it. NC inspections are pretty lax for the most part. Being HC sucks I know that from several well many occasions.
