It’s just business. A house is the biggest investment most people ever own, if you can maximize that to benefit your family you should. I’ve used that tactic twice on past deals (as seller).

 

South Carolina didn’t even make that list! I can’t really tell the difference between North Carolina and South Carolina roads they are both pretty terrible. I was in the company van headed to Greenville on 85 and my coworker made fun of how terrible the roads were in SC and we were still in NC

 

that’s a lie. As soon as you cross from NC to SC, I85 gets 1000% shittier. I just drove down to Greenville on Saturday and I thought I was going to kill someone driving through the construction zone in Spartanburg.

 

Gotta get past the traffic in Gastonia first. My gosh I am glad I didn’t buy out that way every time I pass the on-ramp on 485 and see all the backed up traffic in the afternoon rush hour.

That intersection of 321 and 85 in gastonia is nice now that they are done with it.

I also notice no difference between sc and nc roads, but I also only drive the same 133 mile stretch of both of them.

I'm like @McRib though, I'm used to roads that look like the highway into Baghdad.

I was curious about that! So is this a normal thing in Charlotte? A tent city arrises, gets torn down, then another one is created Or is this the only time there has been a tent city?

temporarily. The homeless are a different breed of people. They have zero desire to actually work or sleep in shelters. Half of them are banned from shelters due to drug/alcohol abuse and/or violence.

there really is no helping them until people stop enabling them.

Too many “feel good” people out there thinking they are making a difference by giving money to beggars or all the SJWs going into the camps and handing out food, water, and blankets.
