Yo guys South Charlotte Taco here. Minus the craigslist shell its pretty much bone stock for now but once the weather cools down Im looking at adding a lift. Any input on lifting the 4 cyl? Its an automatic so its already painfully slow. Im scared that a lift will make it even slower. Cheers.IMG_0770.jpg

I went Saturday. I learned, the Expo just isn't for me. I don't want an RTT, or awning, or anything else being sold there. The demo rides are a joke to me, I'll just go and actually drive my truck on and off road.

Best part was the Cummins r2.8 in the 3-4 vehicles, and hanging out with a couple friends.

It's just an expensive fad, that will fade out in a few years. It's nothing more than who can spend the most money and have the most fancy do-dads to go glamping.

I'll take my hammock setup over a RTT any day of the week. Much more comfortable and takes up far less space and weights ounces, not hundreds of pounds.

Speaking of camping, anyone camping at URE anytime soon? I may go next Sat/Sun. Have some new gear I need to use test/use.

We went saterday seen some cool stuff but way over priced! The only reason I have a RTT is so the wife will go camping she said she was done with ground tents!

I couldn't agree with you guys more. I like some of the ideas but holy smokes it was expensive. The demo rides were lame, I watched someone being talked through what looked like a deep pothole . The cummins 2.8 was cool along with the motorcycles.

I want to go to Overland Expo West, because it's bigger, I have some friends going from here, friends going from the West, and to have a road trip. I doubt I will go to another once I go to West.

Well I can't even get mine into the truck to go camping or to URE, so I don't need all that crap. Me and the dog fit perfect in my ground tent. Maybe once our daughter is born and a little older, I can convince them to go camping with me and justify a RTT or RTT/Camping trailer.

Yeah, I went there last year same stuff, a few more vendors like Desert Rat to get random small parts. I could not find a rotopax this time.
