So what's up with the 8ft steel whip antennas and the 12 tennis balls attached to them on the bro dozers around here?

 

Ummmmmmm the tennis balls help with the damn things whipping around and it use to be a thing to have CBs before cellphone popularity. Guess the youngins kept the tradition.

Had to postpone meetings in Raleigh tomorrow. 5-6 stations in my immediate area are dry.

 

So we survived 2-3 days without the pipeline before places started going dry? Craziness!

 

I need to see if there’s any room in my toilet paper bunker for a couple trash cans full of gas...

I am sure other there is still some out there. My sons buddies were filling up- and reporting which stations are dry.

 

My toilet paper bunker is full of toilet paper. I need to build another bunker I suppose.

Tank farms are full, no gas shortage. Been a driver shortage since last fall tho.

So if they get everyone to panic and suck the stores dry with not enough drivers to replenish, then bam... artificial gas crisis.

Prices go up and state and federal governments get much needed tax money. It's pretty ingenious.

 

Plus side it gets me out of having to drive to lugoff and back for work this week.

I generally top off the boat and mower on Sunday afternoons then fill my cans on Monday at lunch because there is no traffic getting over the bridge to get SC gas. But I was on a jobsite yesterday so I went today. I hadn't really been paying attention to the news I guess, people were giving me some EVIL looks. And what made it worse is that the station ran out just as I was finished filling them all.

 

I hate to say this... but I believe you. It's sad that people would judge you as such without knowing you. But I know, if you were intent on doing it.... you'd of said so. Also, find joy in knowing you're a dickhead! I can't believe you didn't realize what you just did! Someone lost their job cause of you! Waiting in line for gas! You took it all THEY couldn't get to work on time! Prick!
