Ha I've been known to drive to Charlotte and back in an evening to get parts. It was a really long evening. Didn't ESt just drive down ans pick up a cap or something from you recently?

That's not bad either that's as long as it takes me to get to the beach from here. I live in the foot hills of the Blue ridge

I flew to TX with a buddy for him to pick up a car then we drove straight home. I've rode a train to Philly to do the same thing.

This would be awesome. I’d like to do it, but I’ve never done it and I don’t have a jack and all the stuff needed. I’d definitely do all the work if there were someone there to supervise.

I dont live down there with y'all but I have a sad feling alot of these things are the same all over. If you have a mod day contribute. I've been a part of it far too many times with trucks and hot rods guys want to have a mod day and it results in the one or 2 guys that know what needs to be done doing the work while everybody else sits and watches, drinks beer, and then magically when their truck is done they dissapear. Mod days/ work parties are a lot of fun if everybody contributes if not they don't tend to happen often. If you either don't want to contribute or have nothing to contribute then be prepared to pay. You may not know much about suspensions rt now but guess what, nobody here did either until they jumped in and learned so I applaud your enthusiasm to learn as most of the prics up here just want to sit and watch and have no dsire to get dirty. My guess would be you find it intimidating, I did as well, until I did my first and figured out it was really easy. You guys appear to be a pretty good group

I tried on mobtowns site but it didn't go through because of something with shipping. I already have a bumper in the works with SOS, so I could order there and pick it up all at once.

It appears these 2 posts kinda go together  I refuse to speak negatively about any vendors product unless I've had or seen a direct flaw. Howeverr, living where you do, it seems SOS is a more logical choice. Perhap I'm biased as I have Eddy's skids and bumper but his quality is good and his service, for me at least, was great. Eddy worked with me on skids when i had my 2.7l truck when only one other vendor would even contact me back.
