I put the pavers up on FB marketplace for free this morning and some folks came and dragged them off. I'll get some more quotes, but if I can't get that cut in half I'll DIY.

Been awhile since I’ve done concrete but I’ll happily lend a hand. Payment is letting my pup do a dive off of your dock

Just takes one good swimming dog to make the rest of them learned. My buddy brought his golden retriever down from Indianapolis and we went hiking in DuPoint at Triple Falls. Couple minutes of coaxing and my golden jumped in, now she CRAVES the water.

Trade you dog swimming lessons for WHITE CLAWZ

Actually thought about getting a new one, they are relatively cheap, cheap to mod, and a little faster than the old ones. I really want a new GT4 but that wouldn't be responsible. I think I'll try to invest some more money and see what happens in two years or so.

I'll come over and watch and heckle you both how you are doing it wrong, even though I have zero experience with concrete.

Thats a nice chunk of change, did they say if this was 1 or 2 days of work? If 2 days, for a crew, plus concrete and equipment, overhead and profit, not out of the realm of being fair. Still, a fair amount of money though

They didn't say, but it's only 3-4 yards of concrete. I could form it and pour it myself in two days, so professionals should be able to do it in less, especially if they had a crew. They may have had a pump truck in the quote though since the truck can't get down there. One of the other guys I talked to though said it could be done with powered wheelbarrow.
