Charlotte, NC area: hate on OP, houses, boats & hoes

I would INSIST on doing the work. Along with anyone else needing stuff done to their truck. I want to learn how to do all the stuff I’d like to do to my truck. However, a TRD Off Road is an expensive truck, so I don’t just want to tear in to it on my own without someone that absolutely knows what I should and shouldn’t be doing. I 100% want to learn all I can.

 

You sir, are a rare breed at least compared to the idiots around here. Well, I take part of that back as I don't live up with the city guys and out here these guys are, for the most part, very independant and do their own thing. Kinda why we don't have mod days around here i reckon. You get with some good guys, which there are several around your area, and learn all you can it's alot of fun. Maybe you have some strengths in some other areas like electrical or some other area where you can me the main man. Soak up what they show you like a sponge and hopefully they'll entertain questions and before you know it you'll be able to help others

You should! I've built my whole truck by myself and while I had fun having some other guys around to bs with and lend a hand sure makes it even more fun

Yes it does. I'm about an hour North of Charlottesville kinda northern central Va in the foot hills of the mtns. I can't handle much north of here and I have to drive up there when I'm working. Completely different people with a completely different outlook.

 

Good thing, kept me busy today. I didn’t have anything to do at work other than browse the internet and buy more shit.

I swear my credit card takes a beating due to this site.

VA is part of my region for work. Soooo much different- something happens past Harrisonburg, Culpeper, Fredericksburg!

 

You can also save a good bit on deals on here also though like when I bought my suspension from the member in your area. I don't remember his screen name but he was a good guy and a pleasure to deal with and saved me quite a bit.

 

I've never figured it out and no way in hell going into politics here as I'd really rather never talk about it at all. IDk if it's just city people compared to country people all I know is I don't like dealing with them around DC at all

I was laughing so hard reading the thread where the dude had a naked pic of himself in the window by accident and my wife asked what was going on so I showed her. She laughed and said it had been on FB some guy that was selling his house and it must have been photosgopped who knows.

 

Nah, he is pretty active in The Lair thread, it was legit. He owned up to it and laughed about it like a champ.
