Whenever the time comes, I’m thinking of a hitch cargo basket that has a hitch coming out the back so I can just keep my 1up folded on there.

Not this one but something like this

Looking at a windrock trip on 7/17 with some TN TW members if anyone wants to come ride. Never wheeled with them before but probably won't be hitting anything too crazy hard, but probably not the bunny trails either so I would say 33s, locker and a winch min if you want to come ride!! Neither of us have been to windrock so it may just be getting the lay of the land type of trip.

Having just been to Windrock - I don't feel there's much there for a mild Tacoma/4runner. To really get around there you need 35's, and lots of clearance/armor. 37's would be great.

My truck is on 32's and about 2" worth of lift and while it was fun, it was REALLY slow going, and lots of fear of damage even on the greens.

That's where the winch comes into play.

I paid $700 for it, I'm using it.

Wrenching on your broke POS because you don't want to use the winch is not wheeling, change my mind!

additionally if it means using a winch versus a trail fix or parking lot repair. I’d take the winch all day long :p

We had to winch the SxS's a few times when we went, and they were all on 32's to 35's (35's are giant on SxS's).

Winching gets old when it's most than twice per day.

How would you know what your truck/you are capable of if you don't go on them?:stirthepot:

I would be waiting a year or three for the new Toyota stuff to get dialed in. I'm sure they are better than Ford, but that first gen EcoBOOST was a giant pile of crap. The newer ones are great and straight up get down with a tune. My buddies F150 truck runs 12.7 @ 108 100% stock (with a t00n).
