You'll probably need to make some suspension changes as you add weight anyway. So an argument could me made on adding all your weight THEN setting up your suspension. But most people do suspension/tires first just because it's the biggest change to appearance.

I've redone my suspension about once a year on average  so unless you just bite the bullet and do it right the first time (recommended) you will make some tweaks along the way regardless. I had OME 884s, 885s, 886s, and now BP-51s for instance. Went with the various heavier/longer springs as I added slider/skids/bumper/winch. Even doing my own installs the cost of alignments alone added up.

Plus the Firestone lifetime alignments usually suck so your best bet is to pay a reputable shop to do it… as you said that adds up very fast.

I've been bleeding Firestone with my Lifetime alignments for years. Just gotta find a shop that does a decent job, keep taking it back for your 30min window until it's right(Straight from the techs mouth). the service writers give me weird looks/comments when I schedule an alignment for tomorrow when they tell me my alignment is done.

They're great to have when you are far from home(no starbucks isn't that far) and you're alignment is Fuct

Paid for itself many times over

I just didn’t have any luck with the techs after a few tries but probably should’ve stayed more persistent! Glad it’s worked out for you!

PSA for those of you in Mecklenburg County, and if you don't escrow your property tax: I just got my tax bill yesterday and was able to pay with a CC. Usually they charge a fee so I send a check but this saved me a stamp and netted me $100+ in rewards.

Is there a decent bit of housing on Lake Wylie? If so, is there a better part of the lake to live at?

My parents are still living in Ohio but have been looking for houses for months down here. In their price range (less than $400k) there's literally nothing. If houses do come up, they are JUNK for that price. I'm even seeing junk in the mid 500k range, LOL

Anyways, they just signed today to build a house with DR Horton out in Denver. Probably not perfect, but more perfect than these damn salvage title houses that are asking $330k for, and selling for $360k, and needing $40k right off the bat to be move in ready. Absurd.

It’s a 5yr house for them, much better choice than a used clunker. I have not seen one legit move in ready house for under $400k in 3 months. Either people are fucking slobs or I’m a whole different level of OCD

I'd look in the mirror probably. And you'll be lucky for DR Horton to be in decent shape after that long. They are the bottom of the barrel large development builder. Good at putting lipstick on a pig but that's about it.
