Hmmm...theres a place called Papa's On the Lake on Lake Conroe near where I used to live N of Houston....also mediocre but benefitted from its location on the lake.

Should have bought sliders instead of skids. Hopefully not a huge repair. Thankfully didn’t touch the door much.

At least it’s on the passenger side where you won’t see it all that much. I wouldn’t spend the coin to fix it.

Unfortunately it’s pretty ugly in person, only about 6” long but sticks out like a sore thumb. I’ve dealt with a local body shop a ton so hoping to go see him Monday and get a good quote.

sorry, was thinking Charlotte area. Don’t know anyone up there. If you need help in Charlotte let me know. I worked Geico 15 years auto adjuster and know most all shops and people. Most on independence blvd.

If u want to send me their estimate to see if they are screwing you I can look at it.

I know the work from this shop and he’s done me a few favors, shouldn’t even be a quote. Guessing he will say $500ish and we will be good. An actual quote at a shop would be $900-$1200.

Main thing is it needs to be perfect or 95%. Most people see shiny and they think it’s good. Good shops can match orange peel texture, blends are perfect, no tape lines, etc. I’ll see what he says and let you know.

I was at Patriot Mountain Off-Road park, up near Boone. Was going through a steep/deep washout/rut when I spun pretty hard, stabbed brakes, slid into the side. Didn't even think I did anything until I stopped for lunch and saw it.
