I usually jump off at McAdenville and go thru Dallas but today it was a chore just getting there.

I have always wanted to operate an excavator as a job. Never knew how people got started in that line of work.

Just have to talk to companies and get your name out there that you want to learn how to operate, never know what can happen.

I just fix what the operators tear up lol:welder:

I am swapping out my Nitto Trail Grapplers for either the STT Max or BFG AT KO 2’s. The Nitto’s don’t look right on a Tacoma for me. I don’t know what it is. It just looks like they are out of place.

I am going with the Ridge Grapplers next, saw a set on a Tundra and they looked really damn nice.

Be aware the Ridge Grapplers start in the 17” rim size. They aren’t offered in 16” Incase that is what you have. I’ve also seen countless videos and threads where they start chunking and wear out really quickly.

My primary job was snad blast and paint operations. That 953 in your pic I wouldn't be affraid to say I've probably painted about 250 of them. The only thing I ever kept track of was pans and I lost count around 70. I had to do it all when I was there though, mechanical, track shop alot, warehouse, run parts, field repairs, pretty much anything they needed me to do. Talk to whoever it is your working for and ask them if they'll cover you for getting your welding certs while your at it as well and your HVAC cert

Yeah, I run 17s now. By the time the kbros wear out, which will probably be spring, I will have a drive home company truck and then it wont be an issue....hopefully. :fingerscrossed:

I had KO2 before these. Honestly you can’t go wrong with either. If they made the KO2s in this size it I would probably have them again

Nice. I work mostly in our main shop doing repairs, and some time in the track shop as well during school. But I was lucky and got to spend time in our Spec shop rebuilding engines, transmission, torque converters, final drives and differentials which helped a lot when it came to troubleshooting components when i moved to main shop. And already got my HVAC cert during the schooling portion luckily

I’m leaning towards the BFG KO2. I can get 4 of them in the 285/75R16 size for 832.00 out the door. They are durable and they last. Pretty good looking tire. I think Tacoma owners keep BFG’s doors open.

What size are you are you running? I thought the KO2 came in just about every size there is.

My neighbor is running 305/70R16 KO2’s, but he has a 2nd Gen. the motor pulls those better. I’d hate to put them on my 3rd gen. At least until I get an OV tune.
