Isn’t the SR already detuned? Or you mean a tune for the regular V6TT?

If it wasn’t so ugly, had tow hooks, and had something besides a 3.31 I’d have ordered one. Oh and leaf springs, a bigger cab, and flat rear floor.

Never even looked at the various output for trims levels. Thought they all had the v6tt with the pro having the hybrid thing.

but yes meant just the tunes for the v6tt.

Diagnostic fees are never covered under warranty. All depends on the dealer how they want to deal with that end of a repair. Trying to make a living on warranty work isn't something you want to do it ends up costing the tech and shop more than what they get reimbursed for and sometimes they have to spend months trying to get that reimbursement.

Part of the Dealership/Manufacture problem they're trying to squeeze the consumer and say that its normal and I call BULLSHIT they fuck the consumer more than enough with add on services and uncalled for repairs. I asked them about a rear/front diff and transfer case fluid change $457 bucks! This even goes back to when I had the 17 Taco with a leaking rear diff (leaving spots on the garage floor) and that was seepage not a leak LMFAO.... I even asked the service manager the reason for a gasket he could not explain it....

His clear answer should have been "A gasket is a seal that acts between two mating surfaces with the primary purpose to prevent leakage and fluid ingress". ASE 101.

I learned this in 8th Grade auto shop class.

Dealerships are nothing more than an authorized sales and service facility. Dealerships rarely ever do menu pricing for things like diff services hence the huge price difference between them and independent shops plus they're required to use manufacture specific fluids to keep under warranty. As an ex tech for Chevy I completely agree with you that's there's a big disconnect. But at the same time there is a lot of behind the scenes stuff that the svc department gets shit on pretty bad. I think both manufacturers and dealers can do a better job at being more connected when it comes time for service and warranty repair.

Nice clean looking 4Runner. Is it a pavement princess or do you wheel with it? (Uwharrie, hurricane creek, brown mountain, etc…)

Every time I call I can't understand her, sounds like she's eating a chicken leg or 'something' I guess I can go over and checkup. I'll let you know!

    Back to real estate:

I'm looking at replacing 3 french doors that I absolutely hate on the back of my house (2 of the 3 don't even open right despite me adjusting them) with some sliding glass thin framed marvin doors. IMG_20211228_113911544.jpg
    IMG_20211228_113931230.jpg
I got a quote for $15,134, that includes tax, install and hauling off those doors. Does this sound decent? I know our money is worthless these days, sorry i mean transitory inflation is upon us, and we are in clown world so I really don't have a reference to go off of.
