Buschur Racing tunes them now. Mild mods, making way more power than stock, I think he claims a true 33mpg.

I just saw my first one in person, I would get the Santa Cruz over it all day as far as looks

They are a really good outfit. I had their 4spd dogbox transmission for my old GSX along with a bunch of other goodies they had for the DSMs.

99% of our raw material is over seas it's fun. We get a container and as soon as it's emptied all the raw material is used up within a month. When we get notice that a container lands we go ahead and place another order. Some material is going on 1 yr since ordered and it goes to the food industry.

My commute is too much highway driving. I'm getting 38-40.

These high performance tires on the matrix are screwing up my mileage. Getting like 30mpg mixed driving.

Trying to educate myself rn. What are these (picture attached). I’ve been unable to find a radiator coolant schematic to help me. I’m guess something to help with a/c?

Yep. Looks like heater core lines to me as well.

I don't think this is still a thing, but back in the day they recommended running the heat in the summer to prevent buildup and corrosion in the heater core. Something I learned the hard way....my 93 Isuzu Rodeo had antifreeze all over the floorboard one winter day. Running the heater in 100* days was not high on my "want to do" list.

Looks like SOS went out of business? I can’t say I’m surprised I guess. Who is making sliders locally now? I’m trying to figure out how to price the ones on my truck.

yeah they closed up shop...big thread somewhere on here about it, lots of people filing claims with paypal.

$400-500 should get them sold, I would think.

Does anybody have a cheap set of wheels and tires? I need to get some rollers on this 4runner before they pick it up next week. If anybody wants to help pull the suspension off this weekend, there’s plenty of beer in the fridge in the garage.
