Just did work at a guys house that wants to buy a $165k 22ft pontoon boat. It’s all stupid now.
The X1 is all I want. It’s the same hull as the original x-star. Learned my first back flip behind it.

i have a GX to build. The garage has high enough ceiling I can fit in a lift…assuming the wife can get on board and the slab is thick enough (and it’s not post tension)

This is just my personal experience, but unless you have access to a slip or you have your own dock, the juice is not worth the squeeze for most people. Trailering and dealing with public launches and all the yahoos that frequent them, is just a huge hassle. That said, with your private boat ramp for that neighborhood, it's kind of a break even.

 

I’ve got a boat. It sits in my garage. Every time I get into my blazing hot sun-baked truck in the driveway, every time I open my car door into it, every time I have to crawl over it to get something in the garage I sit there and think how it hasn’t been in the water in years because it’s more hassle than it’s worth and I regret the day I accepted it as a gift from the father-in-law because I can’t sell it.

I’m trying to get the brother-in-law to realize that his life isn’t complete without this floating family heirloom and to come get it. The day I get the other half of my garage back will be a happy day indeed.

Our loan was sent to underwriting today and they are waiving the appraisal due to us putting 20% down on the loan.

it should be finalized by the end of the week. The sell of our current home - who the fuck knows. The buyer switched to an FHA loan three days after we accepted the offer and it’s been over a week to get the inspection report and appraisal back…they have until Friday when the DD period ends.
