Charlotte, NC area: hate on OP, houses, boats & hoes

Unfortunately it is true, I wanted to make a day out of it, get some BBQ, beat on the truck a bit. Sooo with the amount of people going to URE (Veteran's Day event) kind of makes it a bad weekend.

Going to detail my truck instead.

 

Anyone local to Charlotte area have a good shop they use? I need to get an alignment on the front would rather not take it to a place who does a toe and go and call it a day.

Going to be in Charlotte for work this Friday. Any great BBQ near south Charlotte or the Fort Mill area? I mean like old school, whole hog, cook over wood BBQ. I've been to Blue Bar a while back and don't remember being impressed. Extra points if the building looks condemned.

 

Nothing that I can think of, Noble Smoke is out by the Charlotte airport and is pretty solid, but it's new school, fancy re-done old building, HUGE bar and wall of bourbon. If you go, you MUST get the banana pudding, it's worth unbottoning your jeans for the drive home.

 

Noble Smoke but it's more towards Uptown. Pricey but matches the food quality.
The roasted brussels sprouts are amazing.

 

@w.adventures would know more about the good bbq places on the south end of town since he lives that way.

 

Lacy's alignment in south end, but it's expensive ($150). They didn't torque my cams properly on two separate occasions and they slipped each time, they refused to fix it the third time, so i wrote them off...YMMV

So stay away from them lol, thanks for reaching out about the gears i wound up throwing in the 5.29 3rd members myself was pretty simple and straight forward with open diffs
