Truth be told... I stole the idea from 8020.net

Note the shape of the neck, just above the head of the stud...

that is a t-nut. twist it in the rail and tighten the nut. we're talking about using t-nuts for the bed tie-downs, not replacing camper clamps right? you shouldnt have to remove the camper to do that. am i missing something?

    Question for you guys -

What do you think these should be called? I went with Tie-Down Anchors because that's what Toyota calls them, but is that really what WE call them? I have also heard them called Bed Hooks and Tie-Downs. So what do you think is the best name for them?

I don’t like hook. A bit too much like an open end. I like anchor. I rather like everything the way you’ve done it. The only thing I don’t like is my Tundra not being able to use them as-is :)

Really can’t think of anything I’d change.

Sorry if I a missing this question addressed in earlier threads…

    Thanks!

Hi Bryon, we haven’t discussed that here but it’s definitely crossed my mind. Let me know if there are any ideas or features you’d like to see.

Honestly I just like the look of the billet aluminum…ones similar to oem would suit me fine. If you ever decide to make them I’m your huckleberry!

These are nice! Any chance on adding more colors like a grey to contrast the black bed?

Man do we have similar taste! first the MCB bags now a grey tie down. I like not standing out so much or huge contrast, "grey man" as some call it so a not so flashy tie down works for me also. Im in for a small batch of dark grey/tungsten tie downs. Maybe possible?

edit: I didn't see other colors offered other then red until I dived deeper, with that said id still be in for a grey set

I'd love to offer grey but my anodizer is so backed up that they stopped doing custom colors. I might be able to take them somewhere else for an additional charge, let me know if that would interest you.
