Are the red ones the Radiant red (bright red of the 1st gen) or the Impulse red (darker, more metallic, sort of burgundy red)?

I would say they’re closer to radiant red. It’s a bright red, especially in sunlight.

    Hello TW!

I just added a bunch of inventory so if anyone has been checking and they were out of stock you should be good to place your order now.

    Thanks,

    Keith

I understand that these are aluminum and won't rust, but how are these better? The metal looks thicker, which may make it stronger, but it also limits your ability to get standard tie downs in there, if you have a bed liner. Also, from these photos, the opening that the strap hook would attach to appears smaller than the OEM.

They do fit 1st gens, but I can't do custom colors at this time.

The main opening is the same size as stock. These have an additional slot as you can see in photos, which does a better job retaining the hook on a ratchet strap and gives you more options to attach to it. I came up with this idea after getting tired of ratchet strap hooks falling out of the stock tie-down anchors. The slot keeps the hook from falling out.

If custom colors ever become a thing, I would jump on a set of Solar Octane. (and since there's only one potential customer, I understand if that never happens :D)

That's a tough one, but I do get requests for orange here and there. Maybe some day....
