So I bought a Baja designs RTL. Does anyone have any advice on where to run the wiring from?

It is fairly low amp draw (2.5 amps max) so for the running and brake lights, could I just tap the tail lights?

One other method I was thinking of is to splice off the trailer harness since I have the tow package. Good idea? I saw that Curt makes a T-splice harness but it doesn't say it is compatible with our trucks. I thought all 7 pin connectors were "universal" though. It works on the tundras. Any experience with it?

that should work depending if it hooks up to our harness. you could also just pick up a aftermarket trailer harness for 30 bucks and splice into that.
