What's the best air compressor for the money. I don't go out often enough to justify spending 400 on an ARB. Looking for a cheap solution that is reliable.

I just bought a smittybilt 2780 2.54 cfm compressor and the thing rocks. I’ve used it 4 times now at the beach and it pumps up my 265/75 wild peaks fast.

The harbor freight 12v unit will heat up and die before airing up all 4 tires. I gave mine to a friend after using it a few times. It's better suited for bicycle tires.

Also a bit of info I have 285/75/16 and air down to about 15-20 depending on conditions.

After two flats at the same time, I'm looking at this compressor for 265/70/R16 Wildeaks. Tires with less than 2K miles riddled with drywall screws; a sad sight.

A good idea if you don't need it now, I paid less, I think $47, prices go up and down according to inventory. Put it in your cart and watch it change.
