cheap amazon tires... am I missing something here?

Am I missing something here or are these insanely cheap?

 

Black friday or cybermonday deal most likely.

 

Every once in a while they show up for stupidly cheap on Amazon. Here's the mistake I made: I bought them.

And then I clicked on the "let us install" button, which was also stupidly cheap. And they sent me to Sears. Hell, I didn't know that there still was a Sears. Anything that they could possibly do to fuck up a tire install, they did. A couple of days later, with three wheels sporting multiple rows of weights and looking like passengers on a half full tilt a whirl at the carnival, I took them to DT to fix the colossal botch-job. While it was in the bay the manager said, "hell, you should have just screencapped the price, we would have matched it, and we would have mounted them correctly the first time."

Lesson learned.

They were good tires though, all with date stamps less than a month old.
