Baja lights, all terrain tires, and soon to be alot more
What would be a rather cheap and reliable suspension set up that will give my 2019 toyota tacoma trd off road a 2" raise in clearance or even a little more? I dont want to completely cheap out at all, but I cant break the bank and get some 3K suspension set up. If anyone has any recommendations that would be actually reliable i would be very grateful!

Put on some decent tires and spend the rest on fuel

And as for another note, would it be better to just wait and save for a EMU suspension or Fox suspension system? Instead of going the tad cheaper route?

Lot of guys that are perfect happy with lifts that aren’t Kings. Most don’t need them but get them anyway, so don’t put yourself in that box. Cheaper lift options shouldn’t be looked at like they’re useless or wastes of money.

Do some reading while you save up some funds.

I’m running $30 front spacers and about $80 rear blocks. 2/1 lift. Very happy with it. Buy once, no cry.

This question really needs more information to be answered. What are your plans for the truck, mall crawler dirt road slayer, mild off roader, Overlander, rock crawler? What you plan to do with the truck will give a better idea on how to answer.

That would be my choice, I went fox route and very happy with the lift and performance both on and off-road.

I plan on overlanding mostly, I want to get a rooftop/bed rack tent. And i will be going over some rather rocky shit but not like im trying to hit jeep trails rated at extreme or whatever lmao. So its not like i should need a long travel suspension necessarily or anything that crazy

EDIT: Rated 10 i suppose, nothing like that. Just a kit that should give me an extra 2" or 3" should do the trick for what i want to do. In other words i guess what you would say is no serious rock CLIMBING but certainly traveling over more rocky terain i would suppose

yes but doesn't that only raise the actual chassis of the truck? Not your valuable stuff underneath? gas tank, axle, exhaust, etc..? thats what i would want to have raised, i need more ground clearance

    Body lift lifts the body.

Spacer lift reduces the travel of your suspension that's already there but technically gives you extra clearance all the time.

I’ve had them on the truck for 50 miles haha but they are the smoothest M/T I’ve ever felt and people who have them in the snow say they do great. I will be testing that soon.
