So I had a couple 2x6 boards laying around the garage. I took some measurements of my bed and came up with this. It's great for holding a gas can or even shopping bags in back tucked against the tailgate when the wifey makes me take her grocery shopping in my man-machine.

I have the cargo net that goes across the back.. It is useful for a lot of stuff.

I received a free bed divider with my tonneau cover, but my boy's car seats do a good job holding my bread and eggs on shopping days. boys removed of course.
I like the reuse of the wood though,

Two Haul Master cargo bars, piece of temp construction fencing, and a few snaps.
