My bumper’s packaging had DV8 stickers all over it. And the lights they sent me to compensate for the dents from fedex came with DV8 decals.

What size hole saw are y’all using for the AC line? Gonna mount my bumper this weekend and it looks like it’s gonna be in the way. Thanks.

Also I read on here that some guys were using the tow hook bolts to replace the bumper bolts but couldn’t remember which ones or where I read it in all this mess.

    Not the tow hook bolts.

There two bolts going into the cross member. If you cut the “wings” and insert them back into the crossmember then you can add two extra bolts

Not sure for a hole saw. I just used a grinder and made a notch that leaves about 3/16”-1/4” all the way around. It hasn’t touched it yet.

^^Yeah I saw that but I read where at least two people had to use the tow hook bolts because they were longer. I just can’t remember why.

I got the kore reinforcements so I doubt I’ll will go through the trouble of cutting those to make it fit.

I used the KORE also. Be prepared for very few bumper bolts to line up!

    I had to use:
    Grinder with cut-off wheel
    Sawzall
    Ratchet straps
    Impact wrench
    Jack
    4x4 wood block
And an assortment of hand tools to install it. I mess with metal quite often, including welding, and this SOB probably took 5+ hours to install correctly.

Those 6 mounting bolts were the only bolts that mounted without work. The rest all needed to be drilled larger or metal cut away so they'd mount.

I'm finally freakin done with it, except for installing my winch line)! I've installed a lot of bumpers (used to work for a truck acc. and 4WD shop) and I've never had as many issues as I had with this one! It'll be a MoFo if I ever have to take it off again!!!

Anybody else's anchor points, where I have the d-rings attached, don't go all the way to the main bumper plate? I just noticed there's about a 1/4" gap between those pieces and the vertical plate of the bumper, and it's just stitch welded to the main body of the bumper. I may have to add some metal/welds to that area.
