I actually liked the extra light holes. I have the inner lights aimed as fog lights and the outer two wired with the light bar and aimed out toward the side a little bit to get some extra overage. I'll see how I like that setup, but may change things around.

How well did the light bar drop in? Is it 20 or 22 inches?
I'm thinking of getting a curved bar, also from ebay. Think it'll protrude forward? Or will it even mount?

Hello I’m sorry for not being able to sift through this massive thread but I was wondering how this bumper looks on stock trd sport suspension? Could I run it for a few weeks before I get 5100s and ome 888s?D45991B9-0A62-4136-A032-9089D1F30B46.jpg F6A5C86A-B6A1-41B1-A6D7-5EE307EC79ED.jpg

Better than stock an yes you'll be able to run it till you get your springs. The original eBay ad states the white truck in the photos is stock.
I see your truck already has nice sneakers an headlights, IMHO I think the bumper will set it off..pro tip install bumper while it's stock, lifted its a pain them couple inches is right at most people's pivot point for lifting it.

    Short after-install report:

Bumper is awesome! Held up to being recovered and recovering someone else, a couple times each way. No winch in it yet, but soon.

Fitment is to be expected for less than half the cost of it's copy. Not super dooper great, and not complete shit requiring a ton of metal to be hammered or cut. I did have to drill almost every single hole for the smaller hardware to fit into the sides, joining the top and bottom together, they just weren't gonna line up more than 1-2 holes overall, period.

The top and bottom major parts went on mostly fine. Had to expand the rearward sway bar hole on the lower piece, driver side. This might have been my own fault because I used a ratchet strap to squeeze those mount points together, it was pretty pigeon-toed after shipping.

Every truck is different. Every bumper is made slightly different than the other, don't care who ya are and how much markup you apply to your product, or if robots n laser beams are used to build them.

At least mine came notched for the AC line :D

Forgot to add: I didn't try too hard at aligning it, the 3rd time adjusting it. So it is touching my front flares and pushed them a bit.

And I don't really feel like fighting it and beating on it again, I'll take the flares off

It shouldn’t be touching the flares. As soon as you flex it’s gonna do some damage to them. Should be like a 1/2” gap between the bumper and the flares.

I’m not sure of my exact gap but I can fit a finger in between.

It needs another adjustment, I just haven't done it, again. Passenger flare is now stuck out about 1/4" after wheeling, and not sure I can get it back in flush. That's why I'm willing to lose the flares.

Here’s an good tutorial how to remove the stock bumper

Installing the new bumper it self is easy just mount on where the factory aluminum crash bar was to those studs. Leave it just snug so you can adjust.

The bottom half is a different story it may or may not align to where the bolt holes for the swaybar. Some use a ratchet strap to move it. I had to make the bolt holes on the lower portion of the bumper using a drill bit.
The “wings” on the upper portion that actually uses like 12 bolts an nuts to the main portion of the bumper is a beech leave those kinda lose till you have all the bolts at least a few threads in an tighten down. I recommend an engine hoist or a friend to help you mount the bumper as it’s awkward an top heavy.

Are you supposed to take the sway bar off the bottom to mount the bottom part?
