Does DV8 make these bumpers? Their price is $~300 more than the Ebay ad and its exactly the same bumper. I messaged the ebay seller and asked if they sold it without the powdercoat and they do not. Figured i could get in touch with whoever actually makes these and try to order one in bare steel and hopefully save a little bit of $$. I will have to modify it one day to clear for 4Ds. Easier to weld if there isnt powder in the way.

I am far from angry. My point was that it is a good thread to reference but it is full of unnecessary clutter so when you were actually trying to research the thread of the product it makes it very tough to do so.

The only part that frustrates me Is it is an exact copy of another product and they undercut it by a large amount of money. That other vendor spends a lot of time and care designing their products and making a quality part. If you read through the thread you see a lot of people that had fitment issues with this eBay bumper whereas you don’t see or hear of that with the original bumper from all pro. All pro or any vendor for that matter spends a lot of time and care designing their products and making a quality part. If you read through the thread you see a lot of people that had fitment issues with this eBay bumper whereas you don’t see or hear of that with the original bumper from all pro.

And that’s fine if you think we are overpriced, but we are in line with everyone else. I can assure you we are not overpriced, there is a lot of cost in building everything by hand in the states. Good luck with your cheap products. We will continue to build quality parts and be just fine with that.

So what makes you say they are overpriced? Describe for us your intimate knowledge of material sourcing, r&d, prototyping, CNC costs, worker wages, taxes, and production facility costs.

Your loss. If you care nothing about protection, longevity, and functionality by all means buy your cheap Ebay "armor".

The dude just joined last week. Forgive him, for his balls are still swinging after the drop. You have a point. 90%+ meaningless banter in this thread. Some gems hidden (sleuthing, fit-up, install advice), but mostly garbage. Don't worry about the whining of Internet Toughies.

    enough to have fun
@Cam2010taco notch the bumper, I laughed when I read the notch it line, as I imagined someone notching their AC line. After that, the bumper is durable as heck. @anthony250f, @Sub-Zero, and myself have tested the bumper while wheeling without issue.

you sound like a 12 year old internet troll IMO. You are probably used to reading strictly click-bate articles, but if you actually read what @Mobtown Offroad had posted, they were pointing out that this thread has been almost entirely nonsense (including this post), and that the useful posts should be kept and the thread locked from further nonsense haha

Yes, take off the sway bar, throw that fucker in the street. Mount bumper. Drive.

Such an amazing and capable difference it made off road!
And with 885 coils on my 2.7 AC, it's like it's still there!

    It called business.
Customers get what the pay for, as well as supply and demand.

My point, you're trying very hard to discredit another company that undercuts your business.
Getover it. Cut your prices if you're so concerned for your base...?
If you "CARE" for the Tacoma world consumers?

I have bought cheaper and it worked just as well.

I merely pointed out what i read in 300+ pages. Yes I read the whole fricking thread.

I listen to all the negative nancys and the garbage spewed and then a vendor chiming in about a product they no nothing about.
Have they bought one and test it? No.
    Have you? No
Point being some did and they are enjoying it and the sharks come out.
    Taek a basic encon class.
    Remember buggy whips?

And let's not bring up ALLPRO.
I think their business model and customer service has failed them.
They have left several TW customers hanging...

Correct me if I'm wrong... but you just "spewed garbage" about a vendor being overpriced having never bought or tested their products. And how do you know weve never tested them or have had friends test them? I'm sure a vendor who handmakes their product knows the difference between cheap and high quality. I'm also sure your econ 101 taught you everything you need to know to run a successful fabrication business.

I'll admit that cheaper products work for some people, but you get what you pay for.

This thread should only be about inexpensive bumpers and it's a shame people come in here and hate on people's budget choices, but having all the info on quality vs cost is advantageous and should be thoroughly discussed in here.
